Information on Intrax Springs for SVT focus

    Intrax springs for the SVT Focus are available from summit racing for about $180+shipping from them. The springs should lower a SVT Focus by 1.25 inches in the front and 1.75 inches in the back. These springs are more than 100% stiffer than stock springs, which makes the ride very stiff. The car now looks much better with these springs considering that there is no wheel gap with my stereo system. The ride seems to be ok with, as it is a little bumpy on some roads. I would recommend having a shop install the front springs, as that is the most dangerous part to do since of the compressed springs. I did the rears myself with no problems with help from the Focaljet search on spring install.
