MSD Programmable DIS-2 dis-2 ignition box on custom aluminum bracket

I purchased the msd from C-F-M, so I could set a lower rpm rev limiter and later retard timing. I paid $410 for the MSD programmable 6212 dis-2 ignition box plus $60 for the 8912 msd tack adapter and $5 for the aluminum bracket that was cut to fit in stock air intake location.

The MSD box allows has one switch for launch or drag limited rpms, a wire for a rpm switch that provides a ground at max 3 at a programmed rpm range, and three switches for different sittings of retards are possible with this unit. The box allow retard over a certain rpms or boost and retard when driving and available retard settings for starting the car. The msd software or msd controller box allows programming the msd to the exact settings one wants and with the software one can see real time data of retard, rpms, shift light, gear, and etc. on the graph view software. The msd has a shift light harness that can connect to a msd shift light or another brand and even to a home made one.

The installation of the msd is strait forward, as one just has to fallow the directions with the given manual. The msd box and tack adapter can be placed where the stock air intake or somewhere the msd will not get warm.
