Information on the Electric Cut-out

The cut-out is available from QuickTime performance, which is the cheapest I could find it on the web. The cut-out makes the car much louder with it open and it depends on where it's located on how it sounds. I had a cable cut-out installed before this one, which rattled and later broke since it was low in quality. The one I have now from quick time is electric with a motor, which operates by a switch that changes color when pushed up or down. The cut-out opens and closes within 4.5 seconds of holding the switch up to open or down to close it. I would recommend this to add a variable loudness to ones exhaust and to gain performance on the track or street. The cut-out was $100 plus $100 for custom y to a flange with aluminum gasket done at a local exhaust shop. I installed the wiring with my friend which was easy and I ran the wire from the cut-out to the engine compartment to the center consol by passing the wire in the fender to the driver door.
