Installing AEM CAI

I had the AEM CAI installed at C-F-M. The CAI cost me about $300 from C-F-M, which seems to be worth it compared to others Intake that are currently out. I noticed the intake makes much more noise than the stock exhaust and that it gets colder air than the stock. I had to make a custom plash guard since AEM does not make one and I also had to later find out that the small vacuum hose that AEM sent out was to be installed on the clutch cable that runs under the CAI when the CAI is installed on the car. The hose has to be cut down it to allow it to slide on to the clutch cable. I also had to raise up the filter on the CAI by using a cable tie connecting the CAI bracket to the bracket next to some type of metal box. I noticed that filter is located behind the left fog light or Driver side, so one could remove that fog light to get more air to the filter. I would recommend the CAI for a person who wants the max gain available from a CAI with a sound that is noticeable outside.
